The Consent-Based Employment System is a new initiative by PEC that ensures engineers are employed only by PEC-registered Consulting firms with their clear and informed consent.
Firms must log in to the Consultant Portal (ceportal.pec.org.pk) and add the engineer(s) to their application. Once added, an employment offer is automatically sent to the engineer via SMS and email.
Engineers will receive SMS and email notifications on their registered contact details provided in the Engineers Portal (portal.pec.org.pk), clearly indicating which firm has made the offer.
Engineers should open the email containing the offer, review the details, and click the Accept or Reject button provided in the message.
After accepting the offer, the engineer will receive a PEC Attachment Code (PAC) via SMS and email to complete biometric verification at any NADRA e-Sahulat Center.
Once an engineer accepts an employment offer, all other pending offers are automatically declined by the system.
Yes, engineers may receive offers from multiple firms. However, it is the engineer’s responsibility to accept only the offer from their intended employer.
